The ADA School of Aquascaping

The ADA School of Aquascaping

I was lucky to be there at the Still Water Aquascaping Gallery in Bengaluru this weekend, to witness the newest batch of the ADA School of Aquascaping in action (this late post is also because I have just returned home to Mumbai!).

This was the 'Level A' batch, and their 3-day workshop kicked off on Friday (13th) and ended today, Sunday (15th). I happened to be there to meet Adip (more on that in the coming days!), and that's when Adip told me that four aquarium enthusiasts are starting their journey into the world of aquascaping in this batch—with two of them (a mother and son) who had travelled from South Africa to be part of this workshop!

So, over the weekend, in between doing what I had come down for, I had an opportunity to witness their journey into learning the art of aquascaping.

Personalised Water Bottles For Each Participant

What struck me the most is the level of preparation and planning that always goes into any ADA event. Every team member of Adip's meticulously trained team has a role to play in the workshop, each specialising in one key aspect of the science of aquarium-keeping and the art of aquascaping.

The 3-day workshop itself is well-planned and structured, never a dull moment and always energised - what with being surrounded by nature aquariums and terrariums, the air in the gallery is supercharged with oxygen. The vibe is amazing and I guess that only helps enhancing the learning.

The Level A Program covers the following:

  • Aquascaping trend and philosophy

The What, the Where, the Why, the How of Nature Aquariums and the World of Aquascaping
